Web
A site nobody maintains eventually becomes a security problem.
Fast, secure, mobile-first websites for local businesses, built to load quickly, rank locally and stay patched.
Most small business websites fail in one of three ways. They are slow, which costs visitors before the page finishes loading. They are invisible, because nothing was ever done about local search. Or they are unmaintained, running a content platform with plugins that stopped receiving updates years ago, which turns the site into an entry point rather than an asset.
We build and maintain sites for local businesses with all three in view. Fast because performance is both a ranking factor and the first thing a visitor experiences. Findable because a local business that does not appear in local search results effectively does not exist to the people searching. Patched because we are an IT and security company and we are not going to hand you a site we would flag in an assessment.
The local search side is the part most often skipped. A well-built site with no attention paid to the Google Business Profile, local content or the signals that drive the map pack will lose to a worse site that has had that attention paid to it. It is unglamorous work and it is usually where the results come from.
Talk through what you need →- Local businesses that cannot find themselves in search results for the services they actually provide, which is the most common complaint we hear and almost always fixable.
- Companies running an aging site on an unmaintained platform, where the practical risk is no longer just an outdated look.
- Businesses that want the website handled by the same people who handle the rest of their technology, including the email deliverability and DNS side that usually falls between a web designer and an IT provider.
Scope
What we build and maintain
Custom design, mobile-first and accessible
Built for the phone first, because that is where most local searches happen, and designed to be usable rather than merely decorative.
Built for speed
Performance treated as a requirement rather than an afterthought. Slow pages lose visitors before they ever see the content and they lose ground in search.
Local SEO and Google Business Profile optimization
The profile, the categories, the service areas, the local content and the structured data that determine whether you show up when someone nearby searches for what you do.
Ongoing maintenance and uptime monitoring
Updates applied, uptime watched, and problems found by us rather than reported by a customer who could not reach the site.
SSL, hardening and security patching
The same standard we would apply to any other system we manage. An unmaintained website is a real attack surface, not a cosmetic issue.
Content updates and monthly reporting
Changes made when you need them, and reporting that shows what traffic is actually doing rather than a dashboard nobody reads.
Domain, DNS and email deliverability
SPF, DKIM and DMARC configured properly, so your mail arrives and so your domain is harder to spoof in an attack aimed at your customers.
Process
How a site gets built
The build is the visible part. The findability and the maintenance are what determine whether it earns anything.
- 01
Scope and structure
What the site has to do, who it is for, and what a visitor should be able to accomplish. Structure is decided before design, because the structure is what search engines read.
- 02
Design and build
Custom design, mobile-first, built for speed and accessibility rather than assembled from a template and slowed down by it.
- 03
Local search setup
Google Business Profile, structured data, local content and the technical groundwork that decides whether you appear in local results.
- 04
Maintenance from launch
Updates, patching, uptime monitoring and reporting, starting the day it goes live rather than the day something breaks.
Common questions
Web Design & SEO
How long does it take to see local search results?
Local SEO is measured in months, not days. Technical fixes and a Google Business Profile can move things relatively quickly; ranking for competitive service terms in a city takes sustained work. Anyone promising a specific position by a specific date is guessing.
Do you work on sites you did not build?
Often, yes. We will look at what is there and tell you honestly whether it is worth maintaining and improving or whether rebuilding costs less over the next two years than propping it up will.
Why does an IT company do web design?
Because the pieces overlap more than people expect. Hosting, DNS, SSL, email authentication and patching are all IT work, and they are the parts that tend to be orphaned between a web designer and an IT provider. We are also the ones who would flag an unmaintained site in a security assessment.
Will we own the site?
Yes. You own the domain, the content and the site. We do not build things you cannot take with you.
Do you do this for businesses outside Central Kentucky?
Web work does not require proximity the way network work does, so yes. Our managed IT and infrastructure services are focused on Central Kentucky because those need hands on site.
