This policy explains what we collect, why, who we share it with, and what you can ask us to do about it. It is written to be read. If anything here is unclear, email support@repairitky.com and we will explain it.

1.Who We Are & What This Covers

RepairIT Kentucky LLC (“RepairIT Kentucky,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is a managed IT and cybersecurity provider based in Nicholasville, Kentucky. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect through repairitky.com, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.

This policy covers our website and our general business communications. It does not govern data inside systems we manage on a client’s behalf. That relationship is addressed in Section 10 and in our Terms & Conditions and Master Services Agreement.

2.Information You Give Us

We collect information you submit directly, including:

  • Contact and assessment requests: name, business name, email address, phone number, approximate number of users, and anything you write in the message field;
  • Newsletter signups: the email address you provide for our Cyber Fact Friday series;
  • Text message opt-ins: your mobile number, where you have provided it and opted in;
  • Service and support correspondence: email, phone and ticket communications relating to work we perform for you.

Please do not send passwords, account credentials, payment card numbers, or other sensitive credentials through the website contact form. If we need those to perform work, we will arrange a secure method.

3.Information Collected Automatically

When you visit repairitky.com, certain information is collected automatically by our hosting platform and analytics tools, including IP address, browser type and version, device and operating system, referring page, pages viewed, time spent, and approximate location derived from IP address.

This information is collected through cookies and similar technologies. It is used to understand how the site is used, to keep it secure and functioning, and to measure our advertising.

4.Cookies & Similar Technologies

The site uses the following categories:

Strictly necessary.
Set by our hosting platform to serve pages, maintain session state, and protect against abuse. The site does not function properly without them.
Analytics.
Used to measure traffic and understand which pages are useful. See Section 5.

We do not currently run advertising or retargeting cookies on this site. If that changes, this policy will be updated before those tools are enabled.

Most browsers let you block or delete cookies through their settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent parts of the site from working. Blocking analytics cookies does not affect site functionality.

5.Analytics & Service Providers

We use the following third-party service, which collects information under its own privacy policy:

Wix.
Our website host. Wix processes site traffic and any information you submit through forms, and provides built-in visitor analytics.

We do not sell or share your personal information, and we do not use it for targeted or cross-context behavioral advertising. If we add an analytics or advertising tool in future, for example Google Analytics or an advertising pixel, this section will be updated to name it before it is enabled.

Questions about any of this can go to support@repairitky.com.

6.How We Use Information

We use the information described above to:

  • Respond to assessment requests, quotes, and support inquiries;
  • Deliver, maintain, and improve the services you have engaged us for;
  • Send service-related and administrative messages, including scheduling and billing;
  • Send the Cyber Fact Friday newsletter and other marketing communications you have opted into;
  • Measure and improve our website and advertising;
  • Protect the security and integrity of our systems and detect misuse;
  • Comply with legal, tax, insurance, and regulatory obligations.

7.Email Communications

We send the Cyber Fact Friday newsletter and other marketing email only to people who have opted in. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing takes effect promptly.

Service-related email, such as appointment confirmations, invoices, incident notifications and maintenance windows, is not marketing and continues for as long as you are a client, regardless of marketing preferences.

8.Text Messages

Where you have provided a mobile number and opted in, we may send service-related text messages and, where separately consented, promotional messages. Message and data rates may apply and message frequency varies.

You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message, or by contacting us at support@repairitky.com or 859-300-1986. Replying HELP returns contact information. Opting out of promotional messages does not stop service-related messages relating to active work.

We do not share or sell mobile numbers or SMS consent with third parties for their own marketing.

9.How We Share Information

We share personal information only as follows:

Service providers.
Hosting, email delivery, analytics, advertising, ticketing, accounting, and payment processing vendors who process information on our behalf and are bound to use it only for that purpose.
Software and licensing vendors.
Where we procure licenses or subscriptions on your behalf, the information necessary to provision and support them.
Subcontractors.
Qualified subcontractors performing work on our behalf, subject to comparable confidentiality obligations.
Legal and safety.
Where required by law, subpoena, or legal process, or where necessary to protect our rights, property, or safety or that of others.
Business transfer.
In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of substantially all assets, subject to this policy.

We do not sell personal information for money, and we do not disclose client information to third parties for their own marketing.

10.Client Systems & Data We Manage

In the course of delivering managed services, our tools collect system, performance, configuration, and security telemetry from covered client systems, and our staff may access client data as reasonably necessary to perform the work. This is described in Section 11 of our Terms & Conditions and is governed by the applicable Master Services Agreement.

For that data, our client is the controller and RepairIT Kentucky acts as a service provider. We use it only to deliver, secure, and improve the contracted services. Clients are responsible for notifying their own personnel about monitoring and for their own regulatory obligations, including any HIPAA Business Associate Agreement where applicable.

11.Data Retention

We keep personal information for as long as needed for the purpose it was collected, and afterward as required for legal, tax, insurance, and recordkeeping obligations.

In practice: inquiry and assessment-request records are retained while we evaluate and pursue the engagement and for a reasonable period afterward; client service records, documentation, and correspondence are retained for the life of the engagement and a period afterward consistent with our legal and insurance obligations; newsletter subscriptions are retained until you unsubscribe. You may request deletion as described in Section 13.

12.Security

We apply administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the information we hold, including access controls, multi-factor authentication, endpoint protection, and encryption in transit.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. This mirrors Section 12 of our Terms & Conditions: no control set makes any environment immune.

13.Your Choices & Requests

You may, at any time:

  • Ask what personal information we hold about you;
  • Ask us to correct information that is inaccurate;
  • Ask us to delete information we are not required to retain;
  • Unsubscribe from marketing email using the link in any message;
  • Opt out of text messages by replying STOP;
  • Control cookies through your browser settings.

Send requests to support@repairitky.com or call 859-300-1986. We will respond within a reasonable period and may need to verify your identity before acting, particularly where a request concerns a client environment. Some information must be retained to meet legal, tax, or contractual obligations; where that applies, we will tell you.

14.Children’s Privacy

Our services are directed to businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

15.Third-Party Links

The site may link to third-party websites and vendor resources. We are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices, and this policy does not apply to them.

16.Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The current version and its effective date are shown at the top of this page. Material changes will be posted here, and for ongoing services we will provide notice consistent with Section 24 of our Terms & Conditions.
